Meet Our Team

Amanda

Amanda,
Executive Director

Amanda is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Therapeutic Treehouse. She received her Undergraduate Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. She then went on to get her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University and Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Florida.

In the last 15 years, Amanda has been gaining experiences working in the fields of Speech-Language Pathology and Applied Behavior Analysis that allows her to approach therapy from an interdisciplinary perspective. This enables her to evaluate the holistic need of each child and develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Amanda’s training in the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) framework and Gestalt Language Processing further enhances her ability to work with children with autism and related disabilities.

Amanda is always eager to learn and stay up-to-date with innovative interventions in her field. This commitment to ongoing professional development ensures that she can provide the best possible care to her clients.

Outside of her work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring different parts of the world through travel, and staying active. Overall, Amanda’s dedication and passion to helping children with autism and their families makes her an invaluable asset to the field of therapy.

Stephani

Stephanie,
Executive Director

Stephanie Adorno is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Therapeutic Treehouse. She received her Undergraduate Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida before furthering her education with a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. 

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Speech Language Pathology Assistant, Stephanie has been deeply involved in the ASD community since 2015, working with individuals aged 18 months to 15 years old. Her commitment to providing personalized and effective interventions has earned her recognition for her exceptional care and dedication. Through Therapeutic Treehouse, Stephanie continues to champion the holistic development of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, empowering them to thrive and succeed in all aspects of life.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs.

Stephanie,
Behavior Analyst

Stephanie is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She received her Bachelor of Science in Recreational Therapy with a minor in Psychology from Florida International University. She then completed her master’s degree in Developmental Disabilities with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Nova Southeastern University. 

Stephanie has been working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related disabilities ranging from 18 months to 10 years of age for four years in different settings. 

In 2018-2019 Stephanie worked as an intern at The Palm Beach County Therapeutic Recreation Complex, which offered a variety of programs for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She assisted with the development and implementation of programs, such as Adapted Sailing, Young Athletes, and Leisure Spectrum. Working with individuals with developmental disabilities sparked her interest in pursuing a career as a BCBA and assisting children with ASD and related disabilities to reach their full potential using the principles of ABA. 

Stephanie enjoys family, good music and traveling. Sometimes all bundled together, the farthest she has traveled with her family to a concert is Mexico to see one of her favorite bands, Reik.

Samantha,
Behavior Analyst

Samantha is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Student Education from Broward College. She then completed her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in autism from Ball State University.  

Samantha has been working with children with autism and varying disabilities since 2018 in several environments such as multiple school settings, specialized centers, and in home services. While obtaining her master’s degree, she was also a full-time ESE Elementary School teacher for 3 years.

Samantha discovered how rewarding it was to work with individuals with varying disabilities when visiting her aunt’s special education classroom growing up. Becoming a teacher fueled her passion to work with children and make a difference in their lives. This drove her to further her studies in ABA and become a BCBA.

During her free time, Samantha enjoys being active, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog, Harley.

Rose-Sabine,
Behavior Analyst

Rose-Sabine is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She first received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at University of Central Florida. Where she then went on to receive her degree of Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Nova Southeastern University.

Rose-Sabine has been working with children with autism and relating disabilities since 2017 with different age groups and settings. Rose-Sabine first started as Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT), and from there she started the journey of becoming a BCBA. She continued to gain experience in the field as an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS) in Broward.  

Throughout the years, working with children with developmental disabilities has been so rewarding for her and continued to fuel her passion for the field. It is her passion to continue to grow and become the best BCBA she can be!

Rose-Sabine enjoys traveling, music and experiencing new things all around the world.

Nicole,
Occupational Therapist

Nicole is a board certified, and Florida licensed Occupational Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Florida International University. She then completed her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. 

She has been working with children with autism and related disabilities since 2013. She has practiced in various environments including outpatient facilities, in multiple school settings and concierge services in the home. 

When she is not working, she is busy with her daughter, Samantha, spending time with her family and friends and traveling whenever possible.

Jess SLp

Jessica,
Speech-Language Pathologist

Jessica is a Florida Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University.

Jessica is originally from the Jersey Shore, where she earned her Bachelor of Sciences with a concentration in Communication Disorders from Stockon University. Jessica completed her pediatric clinical fellowship in a private clinic where she worked with children ages 3-10 years old with autism spectrum disorders. Jessica has also worked in an elementary and middle school where she gained experience working with children with Intellectual Disabilities.

When Jessica is not working, you can find her in the gym or doing anything active! She loves to paddle board, bike ride, and spend time with her family and friends. She also has two cats, Ezra and Stripes!

Emily Acosta,
Behavior Analyst

Emily’s passion for supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) blossomed in 2018 when she entered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). A graduate of Capella University with a master’s in psychology and a specialization in ABA, she brings both depth and dedication to her role as an early intervention specialist. Since earning her Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in 2021, Emily has consistently strived to personalize her methods to each child’s unique needs and strengths.

Driven by boundless compassion, Emily seeks not just skill acquisition, but the creation of lasting, joyful memories for families she serves. Her dedication extends beyond the treatment room; she currently pursues her PhD in Psychology with a focus on ABA and research, driven by a desire to unlock even more possibilities for children and families living with ASD.

When Emily isn’t guiding young minds and families towards empowered futures, you’ll find her embracing the Florida sunshine paddleboarding with her dog or delving into new and innovative research within the field of ABA. Every new insight gained finds its way back into her practice, ensuring her client’s personalized learning experiences stay at the forefront of the field where knowledge and empathy unite to build brighter futures, one beautiful memory and insightful discovery at a time.

Nikol SLP

Hava Nikol,
Speech-Language Pathologist

Nikol is a Florida Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications sciences and disorders from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Salus university. 

Nikol moved to Florida to begin working in outpatient  pediatric clinics with a variety of populations. Nikol has gained clinical experience with autistic children of all ages, children with complex communication needs (AAC), complex medical diagnoses, children with phonological and language disorders, as well as children with pediatric feeding disorders. 

Nikol is passionate about providing care that is client-centered, child-led and evidence based. She is trained in gestalt language processing, AEIOU pediatric feeding approach, and various AAC systems. 

In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends.

Toni,
Office Manager

Toni is the office manager of Therapeutic Treehouse. She has two associate degrees and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management. She is actively pursuing her MBA which will be completed in the summer of 2024 from Western Governors University. During her studies she fell in love with the field of ABA, providing the front-end operatives to those internally and externally for the company.

During her professional endeavors, Toni has held roles in art and curriculum management, alongside heading into her fourth year in a management role in administrative operations within the therapeutic field.

When Toni is not working, she is typically listening to podcasts and working on schoolwork. She enjoys travelling when able, listening to podcasts and painting in her free time.

Livia,
Behavior Analyst

Livia is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. She then received two master’s degree, one in Health Science with emphasis in child development from Nova Southeastern University, and the second in education in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. 

Livia has been working in the field of early intervention with children with autism and related disabilities since 2004. Livia worked as an Early Steps provider for Broward County for 19 years, providing one on one services to children and parent training. She is committed to provide functional and developmentally appropriate interventions in addition to being passionate about helping children and their families to achieve their success.

When she is not working, Livia dedicates her time to her 2 sons and husband and spends time with her friends.
