Early Steps

What is Early Steps?

Early Steps is an Early Intervention Program designed for infants and toddlers, from birth to 36 months of age, who have or are at risk for developmental disabilities or delays. Early Intervention is pivotal to improving the best possible lifelong outcomes. Increasing children’s participation in daily routines and activities that are important to the family is a top priority of the program. Early Steps supports parents and caregivers throughout their child’s early learning experiences that play a critical role in brain development.

Therapeutic Treehouse is an Early Steps provider for the following services: Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Infant-Toddler Developmental Specialists.

Benefits Of Early Steps

Therapeutic Treehouse’s Early Steps Program Specializes in:

Our Occupational Therapists

The primary goal of our occupational therapy team is to help children develop the skills they need to become more independent and participate in meaningful activities that are important to them. Our occupational therapists do this by creating a personalized plan for your child that includes activities to improve their fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing development, emotional regulation, and more. They may also work with you as the parent to provide guidance on how to best support your child at home.

Our Speech-Language Pathologists

Our Speech-Language Pathologists specialize in a variety of language and feeding challenges. We focus our care across all areas of language, including receptive, expressive, social, and pragmatic language. Our therapists also address challenges related to chewing, swallowing, and behavioral feeding. We target goals directly with your child while simultaneously training caregivers on strategies to increase functional communication.
